Harare Street Trend: Animal Print Jungle!

Animal Print Shoes from Wardrobe Mix
Winter is slowly whiling down in H-town and the winter sale is popping up everywhere! Major clothing retailers that include Jet, Truworths and Edgars have a massive 25%-50% off sale (started 17 July 2012) on all winter clothing and it’s ridiculously GAGA! But besides that there has been a growing Animal Print Fever in the city with a handful of clothing stores (and lady individuals such as myself) showcasing leopard prints, preferably for the Spring/Summer season that’s around the corner. I personally love the animal print trend and have bravely showcased it in previous articles with my scarf! A little animal print should be a staple in any woman’s closet whether it’s a shoe, purse or cocktail dress. But remember its all about mixing and matching, head to toe animal print is way too much Jungle Mayhem!

Show off your WILD side!

Signature Look Scarves

I can safely say I declare myself scarf obsessed! My very first feature on my blog was on a new scarf I just bought so I can honestly  say that  I cannot imagine  life or my look without them as they are the definition of an ultimate accessory to me that rules my number two spot right after denim. So I decided I’m gonna delve a little deeper into “my little obsession” and share some of my looks. After all it is winter and the perfect season to bring them out in full Swing! There are so many different types of scarves; from floral, animal print, mono-colour (one bold colour), pashmina, wool and cashmere.  So many different types with so many different styles to rock with, here are just a few of them (from my closet of course). Enjoy.....

Birthday Gorgeous: Bon Anniversaire

Another year has gone by and today is a special day for me because I turn a fabulous year older! It has been a long journey to complete this year as a lot has happened but today I’m much more wiser, smarter and of course Gorgeous! I’ve learnt so much about myself over the past year from beginning my undergraduate degree program to changing my perspective towards life (Live.Laugh.Love). I’ve conquered a new venture which is my blog that I absolutely adore and proud that everyone who reads it has a fabulous time and learns something new all in a nutshell. I can only thank God for the past year for truly always seeking out for me as “The Lord is my Shepherd; I Have everything I need” (Psalms 23:1). My inspiration draws from the Young Zimbabwean Entrepreneurs who inspire me to begin what I’ve begun achieving today. My dream has always been to be a “Lady in Fashion” and now I’m more than capable of achieving it through God’s eyes.
For me; this is only the beginning....

Work Hard Play Hard: Wiz Khalifa Fashion

Hip-hop is my second best favourite right after R & B. I’m an avid fan of R & B with the likes of Trey Songz, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige and Yes, some Chris Breezy mixed into there. But my focus is on the fashion I spotted in Wiz Khalifa’s recent chart topping track; Work Hard Play Hard. I’m jamming to this track so much it’s even my ringtone. The look he is rocking in the video has got some rocker-edge composing of the classic black leather jacket, the denim shirt, the multi-coloured scarf, the trilby/fedora and of course the black skinnies. I’ve only spotted quite a few H-City boys rocking a similar look but either way; Wiz Khalifa makes the top of my hip-hop/rapper style list without of course forgetting the numerous beanies he is always rocking. A female hip-hop/rapper version of me J.
